Leaded frame entirely made of 2 mm thick silver anodized extruded aluminum so as to guarantee solidity and durability over time. Our frame has been designed and extruded on a proprietary matrix in order to guarantee the continuity of the shielding: it is in fact equipped with adequate air chambers suitable for the insertion of lead strips. The finishing intrados is also produced in silver anodized extruded aluminum with rounded safety edges. The glass is blocked by means of the glazing beads supplied, and a transparent gasket is interposed in order to prevent it from suffering any shocks if banged on the same glazing beads.
The anti-X glass shields against X and Gamma rays from equipment operating in the 80 to 300 kV range. High in barium and lead, which provides optimal protection with excellent visual clarity. Supplied in glossy sheets cut according to the Customer requirements up to the maximum allowed sizes, enabling architects to design panoramic windows with a wider field of view. Also available in specially cut sizes upon Customer request (with ground edges finished with safety bevels). Possible uses include viewing windows for X-rays, angiography and CT scan rooms, medical diagnostic screens, protective windows in laboratories, airport security X-ray screens, and protective eyewear lenses.
